CBSE UGC NET is one of the prestigious competitive exams in India. CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) conducts this exam, on behalf of UGC for the post of Lectureship and for providing the JRF for Indian nationals in order to ensure minimum standards for the entrants in the teaching profession and in research.

Who can appear for UGC NET?

The interested candidates must have completed their post-graduation or PhDs. in the relevant subjects with not less than 55 percent marks. 

How to prepare?

·         UGC NET consist test of 3 papers, I, II & III. Paper-I is common for all the 99 subjects (check list of subjects at http://cbsenet.nic.in/cbsenet/NETSubjectList.htm), Paper-II & III are subject based.

·         You need to prepare Paper-I, II & III separately.

·         Practice is the key to success. Read good books, Practice as many questions you can, Practice Previous year questions in ample amount to understand the Paper Pattern, important areas of subject, your weak and strong areas and difficulty level of paper.

·         Please don't attempt previous papers randomly. Attempt it sequentially with real time exam environment, so that you can judge your potential with the exam pressure, which will help you to boost your confidence level and you will not get Panic on the day of main exam.
